Shifts run for 24 hours. The official start time for a shift is 8:00 AM, however the next shift typically relieves the prior shift early. Because of that, these stats define a new shift as starting at 7:30 AM.
Advised incidents are 911 calls that are solved over the phone and don't require a physical response from the SFD. These incidents may turn into a future response depending on the circumstances. These incidents do not contribute to the overall total.
Live radio is temporarily offline as of 3/28/23 due to Seattle Fire switching to the PSERN radio network. Archived radio transmissions of full responses and major rescue responses are still available for incidents beginning on 1/6/2022 through 3/27/23.
